RPS Group have an exciting opportunity for an Bids & Quality Assistant to join our growing team. We’re looking for someone who is and excellent communicator, confident,  bright and keen to learn.

The role will involve:

Securing new work

    • Attending and participating in weekly tender meetings, supporting in the collation of and updating of all new tender information and activity
    • Submitting compliant Selection Questionnaires (SQs) and support in submitting high quality responses to Invitations to Tenders (ITTs).
    • Building a network of internal relationships to support the achievement of these goals.
    • Supporting in creating marketing and communications collateral such as PR, website, social media, articles and newsletters.
    • Working with the Quality team to assist with Inductions of new starters and managing leavers paperwork.
    • Assist with maintaining company quality records- such as the updating and monitoring of staff training matrices, ensuring all records are up to date.
    • Supporting the Quality team with the organisation of Health & Safety Audits across our operational sites and liaising with relevant managers and 3rd party providers when required.
    • Assisting with, and collating all Quality information and records required from our supply chain
    • Supporting and assisting with online recertification of company certifications and accreditations
    • Working with various departmental teams to assist in the collation of company Key Performance Indicators s (KPI’s) and Feedback from all departments

Skills

  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Organisational skills and ability to plan own workload effectively, working independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines
  • Confident liaising with departments, suppliers and clients.

Essential Criteria

  • Grade A/B in English or relevant subject such as History, in GCSE or Equivalent
  • Grade A/B in English or relevant subject such as History, in A-Level or Equivalent
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Confident using a computer, Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook), other apps and digital accounts
  • Full /clean Driving licence
