Homeserve+ have been undertaking a fully comprehensive heating maintenance contract for South Lakes Housing for nearly 10 years.
We cover the service & maintenance for just over 3200 properties of which 2900 are gas.
Our Homeserve+ team provide a 24 hour 7 days a week year round fully comprehensive Servicing, Gas Safety Check, Issuing LGSR and Responsive Repair service to all South Lakes Housing properties.
The contract includes supported properties that require special attention, such as joint visits with South Lakes Housing Staff to effect repairs, servicing, and safety checks which often need to be carried out outside of normal working hours.
The comprehensive programme also includes checking all Carbon Monoxide (CO) and Smoke Alarms must be checked for correct operation, battery replacement and alarm test reports.
As a part of this contract, we also maintain an additional four commercial plant rooms, carry out chimney sweeps in any properties containing a solid fuel appliance twice a year. Additionally, we also undertake an annual smoke alarm check in the non-gas properties and cover repairs for properties containing an electric boiler or electric storage heaters.
Our Homeserve+ team also complete a heating replacement programme annually for our client.
